Surfin Betty’s Burger Bar

I ordered a burger online, and it was ready really quickly. This is my first time eating a Betty's burger, and I'd definitely come again! The burger was large and juicy. I liked that they offered a side of something other than fries. The potato salad side was a nice size portion and very good. I'm not sure how long they're been here, but I'm happy I stumbled across them.

The first time I had them in Ocean City, it was amazing. When I heard they were opening a location in Bethany near me, I was excited. Shortly after they opened, the food was great. However, today was a different story. It was disappointing. There was barely any sauce on the burger, and it was dry. I ordered Old Bay fries, and they only sprinkled a tiny bit of seasoning on a couple of the fries. There was hardly any flavor at all. For $40, I expected a lot more. But honestly, I would have had a better burger by going to McDonald’s. I’m not sure what went wrong, especially during the busy summer season when you would expect everything to be running at its best. Unfortunately, the quality just was not there this time.
