Sea Esta Motel II

I went to this motel for my sister's wedding in late October. The bed was flea infested. They got me all over my body, over 40 bites everywhere: arms, legs, hands, feet, stomach, back, sides... it was so excessive I had to take a few days off work and school to be on some strong meds that made it bearable. The toilet kept filling up with sewage even when we flushed it and the outside of the hotel smelled like sewage. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to put the one ply toilet paper on the side of the tub if we didn't want it on the floor. The beds were super stiff and hard, and the pillows were thinner than any I've ever used in my life. They also started ripping off shingles and hammering them back on early in the morning. Needless to say, I did not get good sleep there. The only positive was that the clerk was nice enough to wait up on us after a delayed flight when we arrived at 1 am. That I did genuinely appreciate. But I would still never ever stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

When we first came to check in, we were a little skeptical, but it was the most affordable option out of other motels, we came to meet online friends of 4+ years and it was amazing. Were from California, so were used to things not being right or way to expensive. The king size bed was comfortable, and the price for a pet is alot cheaper then normal places, and I appreciated that, since we brought our dog. The have a lovely front desk with coffee machines, the showers were nice and hot, it was very decent of a place to stay at and easy to get around. Granted the first three nights we had to deal with them replacing the roof, but after that it was quiet nontheless. The new roof looks amazing though. I really enjoyed my stay and so did my husband.

Fair prices and in a convenient location in Long Neck. The service was great and they even helped us check in when we arrived very late the first night. Some of the negative reviews feel a bit exaggerated however one major complaint was the constant smell of both cigarette and marijuana smoke. We didn’t come across any bugs and the room was fairly clean. The room was what you would expect from a motel of this price. You want a 4 star hotel experience? Then go somewhere else. You only need a clean bed and running water? This place will suit you just fine.
