Ocean Glass Inn

Unfortunately, our room was a little gross (room 5). My husband and I are frequent visitors to the area and we’ve stayed at a lot of places in Rehoboth. This was definitely one of the pricier places we’ve stayed at down there but it looked cute and had good reviews. Since we’re basically only in our rooms to sleep we aren’t picky, as long as it’s clean and relatively comfortable we’re fine. However, as soon as we arrived we noticed a used wet towel still hanging on the back of our door, hair on the shower walls and a bit of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. It was obvious that the bathroom was either not cleaned at all, or cleaned very poorly. The room was VERY small which we didn’t care about too much but it did start to get awkward to find places for our wet swimsuits and things like that since it was such a small space. The bed was hard and squeaky, and the ‘continental breakfast’ was basically a few mini bagels and some dry cinnamon bread with juice. They had some empty cases sitting there so many there are normally more options but just not when we were there. Their only saving grace was the coffee machine, it was pretty cool and actually made great lattes. In their defense we did not bring these things up during our stay so I’m not sure how it would have been handled but the state of the bathroom should have been a lot better to begin with. Overall, I definitely wouldn’t visit again for the cost when there are other hotels around with clean bathrooms and breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast! The location was perfect — within easy walking distance to the boardwalk, which made exploring the area super convenient. The customer service was truly above and beyond. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly responsive and informative, always available to answer any questions or provide helpful recommendations. Everything about our experience felt welcoming and thoughtful. We genuinely loved our stay and would absolutely come back again!

We’ve stayed at the Ocean Glass Inn many times over the years, in July was the first time with new owners.
I got an email about our stay one week prior, the message said it was confirming our reservation for September. I had to call hotel to confirm our booking was July, not September.
It’s definitely not the cute motel it once was. No more red/white/blue bunting hanging on motel.
There were no flowers in the hanging baskets. The baskets at the cottages were plastic plants, so nasty. Our door mat had weeds growing through it.
The round table in our room had a sisal door mat rolled up propping the leg to stay stable, unbelievable!
The bed was comfortable and
a/c worked well.
The breakfast was just a few pastries and breads. No fruit or juice. They had water available only one day. They really could use a 4-slot toaster. The auto coffee machine is slow. No peanut butter available. No more happy hour.
Their website says NO dogs allowed but there was a dog consistently being walked on property and peeing near our room.
Kids would play ball in front of our room at 7:30am with very loud voices, not enjoyable!
