Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rehoboth Beach

We came here during the beach season for 2 nights. Despite having paid the hiked up price, we did not get good housekeeping service. We left the hotel for the beach around 940 am and came back around 220 pm, fully expecting that we will have fresh towel and the floor will be swiped and the sands would be cleaned out of the shower. However we came back to a room with basically no change only the dirty towel on the floor has been collected. We even put down some dirty bed sheets to be replaced and nothing was done. Even the trash was not taken out. This was very unexpected and when we complained the answer was we are short staffed. Not sure how they can charge full price if they don't give the full service that is required to run a hotel.

I do have to say the front desk and the breakfast service are great.

This MICROTEL by Wyndham was clean, modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their free breakfast includes eggs, sausage and pancakes as well as all of the usual fare. I would definitely recommend this hotel and seek one again in my travels.

I booked this hotel due to positive experiences with the chain in the past and due to the positive reviews given for this location to celebrate 5 days away for my boyfriend's birthday. It was our first time to Rehobeth Beach. Most of the staff were very welcoming and professional except for one named Becca. When on duty she seemed very disinterested in being there let alone giving the impression she did not wish to be bothered. We both watched how she interected with various customers and Becca was consistently disengaged, especially when asked a question or requesting assistance. We checked out and my boyfriend needed a luggage cart. He kindly asked Becca if there were any available carts and she quickly advised they were unavailable...yet Stefanie, standing nearby advised there might be one in one of the conference rooms and asked it would be okay to check..and Becca dismissively responded " if you want to". Stephanie indeed looked and obligingly found a cart with a smile on her face. I only like writing good reviews but I do not want your establishments reputation to be tainted by someone who does not seem to want to be there. Thought you should know. All else was wonderful from check-in with the two males , the cleaning staff, and the amenities.
