Mancini's Brick Oven Pizzeria and Restaurant
I've been wanting to try Mancini's for four years, and it finally happened on Valentine's Day for dinner in 2026! They do not accept reservations, and that was fine by us, so we arrived at the restaurant around 4:40 pm for a 5 pm restaurant opening. We bet that maybe six other people would be in line with us, and boy were we ever wrong! When we arrived, there was about twenty people in line, and within ten minutes, at least another twenty people arrived. The owner greeted everyone with a warm welcome and asked for us to be patient with his staff, and that was completely understandable looking at the size of the crowd that waited to get inside. We were seated within a few minutes, were taken care of by various members of the team, and never felt rushed, forgotten, or like we were waiting on our food for a long time. We enjoyed a roasted garlic bulb appetizer, cream of crab soup (beyond delicious, and FULL of crab, and my boyfriend just rated theirs at the top of his list, thus bumping two other restaurants down the chain lol), seafood lasagna, capellini ai fruitti di mare, and a very smooth and delicious tiramisu. Needless to say, we took a lot of leftovers home and just ate them for dinner again tonight!!! When we left the restaurant about 90 minutes later, we walked through the entire restaurant, and it was full!!! Full of energy, full of life, full of a warm and welcoming feeling that was easy enough to see and feel. Thank you to Mancini's for a terrific meal, fabulous service, and we thoroughly cannot wait to come back!

The food was good. We had the pizza hoping it was going to be crispy due to the wood fired oven. But it was not crispy throughout. The crust was perfect but the rest was “average”. The margarita pizza was too cheesy. Was hoping for fresh mozzarella, basil leaves and some sauce. It tasted great but did not hit the mark. The pasta with shrimp was delicious along with the bruschetta trio. Overall. Good food, great service and nice atmosphere. Would go again.

I visited on Tuesday around 6:30 PM, and the restaurant was not busy. Unfortunately, my experience with our first server, Sonia, was disappointing from the start. There was no greeting, no smile, and she simply dropped off water at the table and walked away.
When we were ready to order, I told her we wanted to place our order, but it felt like she wasn’t listening and started turning away. I ordered drinks and a mussels appetizer, but it seemed like she wasn’t paying attention to what we were saying.
Later, another server, Maria, took over our table. She was warm, friendly, and greeted us like family. However, she had to come back and ask us what we had ordered with Sonia because our order apparently had not been properly taken. We had to repeat the drinks and mussels appetizer all over again. Maria also asked if we knew about the specials of the day, and we told her no because Sonia had never mentioned them.
What made the experience uncomfortable was seeing Sonia being much friendlier and more attentive to the table next to us. I don’t know whether there was a reason for the difference in treatment, but as an Asian customer, it certainly made me wonder. Regardless of the reason, every customer deserves to be treated with the same courtesy, attention, and respect.
Thankfully, Maria completely turned the experience around with her professionalism and positive attitude. She deserves recognition for providing the kind of service every guest should receive. I hope management addresses this issue so that all customers feel welcomed and valued.
