Lago Asian Cuisine & Sushi

Certainly not a bad meal or bad service; 2 pieces of Nigiri Tuna ($12) and 2 pieces of Salmon Sashimi ($12); would have expected them to be a little bit larger than a one bite but it was fresh and cold! Chuck's roll ($14) and the Dancing roll ($16) were delicious, but again, kind of small for the price. Chicken lettuce wraps ($15) served with a nice bowl of chopped chicken and fresh, crisp lettuce. Ginger Salad was the best deal of the night at $11 served cold and tasty! Pork dumplings a good appetizer (5 for $11) Nice selection of wine and was $12/glass. Sapporo $9. I would go back. Nestled in a cute little town near the water. Lucky enough to hit a live band after dinner.

I don't know if my friend and I came here on a bad day, but neither of us were impressed with the food. We both had small plate items from the menu. The fried rice was terrible (sorry to say). My friend said her meal wasn't bad, but wasn't really all that good either. When I went home after dining at Lago, I retained the bad odor that was in the restaurant and food. I had to shower and wash my hair because I smelled like something rancid. I know a lot of people who've eaten at Lago and were very pleased with the food so I'm hoping this was just a one-time thing. If not, I hope the food improves because this restaurant is a nice addition to the Town of Milton.

Lago is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The servers here are absolutely wonderful — they’re attentive, friendly, and make you feel like a valued guest every time. Everyone on staff goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is perfect.

And the food? Incredible. The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The shrimp tempura roll is a must-try — it’s perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the flavors blend so well. It’s easily one of the best rolls I’ve ever had.
