Kaisy's Delights

I love it. My family is from Pittsburgh and this is the comfort food that I grew up with. I've been twice, so far, and I will be returning often. This a special treat to have so close by to me. The food is delectable. No other words can describe it. There is a lot on the menu that is not customarily found in this region. Coffee bar offering is top notch. Service is lovely, warm and friendly with a willingness to explain anything on the menu. Tip well and go often. You'll only be disappointed if you don't go.

Started with expresso. Heavenly.
Pierogos were delicious, we ordered chicken & Ratatouille & desert. All very nice .

I’ve been here twice. The first time it was absolutely amazing. Came in on a Saturday and expected a wait but there was none and receive great service and great food. This second visit was far from similar to the first. I came in on a Tuesday, got seated quickly. It was rather busy inside. Regardless we got seated and ordered. I ordered the Benny and my girlfriend ordered the bacon egg and cheese with cucumber and potatoes on the side. The server asked me if I’d like some also so I said why not. She never informed either of us that it would be a $4.50 up charge for potatoes. Had I known this I would have declined as I assumed they came with the meal since I was not told otherwise. The food tasted good however my girlfriend’s bacon egg and cheese with cucumber was missing both the cheese and the cucumber. Not a huge deal by itself but we did not feel like sending it back and waiting longer as we had waited awhile already. After finishing our meal we had to wait about 20 minutes before finally getting the servers attention and receiving our check. During my trip to the bathroom their door lock being old and faulty caused the lock to take off multiple layers of skin on my finger and caused me to bleed on my white shirt. Overall I had a terrible experience this second visit and left questioning why I did not go to station on kings as the food, service, and coffee are just as good for a cheaper bill.
