Hello, and welcome to the Fenwick Islander! The Fenwick Islander Motel is located just a few blocks north of Ocean City Maryland in beautiful Fenwick Island Delaware. Join us for clean, affordable accommodations just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Fenwick Island's stretch of ocean provides uncrowded beaches for swimming, surf fishing, surfing and any other ocean activity you can imagine. The Bay, meanwhile, offers jet skiing, sailing, windsurfing, boating and fishing, to name a few possibilities.

The rooms seem dated and initially you may find yourself feeling like you have transported back in time. The hallways have cinder block walls, there is no fancy art work, the appliances are not top end but everything works just fine. Beds are comfortable and the service is great and so is the location with plenty of parking. Definitely do the automated check in and check out. A small investment could really make this place shine so I hope they do that like adding some more color and fine touches - adding an outlet / 110V or 240V for EVs outside would be great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. While it's not fancy, it is comfortable, clean, and a great location. We were very happy with the laminate flooring instead of carpet, new carpet in the halls and stairs, and new mattresses! The king bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. We didn't swim, but the pool looked very clean and inviting! Several others were enjoying it. The balcony looks over the canal, and it was nice sitting out there in the morning and evening. Fenwick is a great area, and we walked almost everywhere. One block to the beach, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We'll probably stay here again when we return.

We stayed at The Fenwick Islander October 4th through October 6th. The Motel is an impeccably clean, bright and welcoming place. It is located within walking distance of the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk Clerk Karen was very welcoming, from help with booking and taking the time to reach out the day of our arrival to check on our travel asking what time we would be arriving. She took the time to explain the motel and the area. We asked for recommendations of local places to eat and she directed us in the direction of a very delicious restaurant within walking distance. We were also given the recommendation of a delicious cafe for breakfast, also within walking distance. We will certainly stay again when we are in the area.
