Crowley Associates - Bethany Beach

Rental unit 305 Farragut in Seacolony was satisfactory. I would not rent this unit again. Kitchen update is nice but other furniture, Wi-Fi, beds and broken amenities caused a “lack luster” impression. Beds are OLD and uncomfortable, lighting/electricity is lacking and we had ants. Crowley real estate agency was helpful and prompt with fixing ant problems and Wi-Fi. However the entire u it needs updating. Ocean view was spectacular. We have spent over 25 summers renting in Seacolony so we have certain expectations. This unit did not meet the high standards that we are accustomed to when renting in Seacolony, unfortunately.

This house is a 10/10. This is our second year renting, it’s Beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. It’s about 6 blocks to the beach, so still walkable, which our family of adults and strong teens did everyday. You get a parking pass so I guess you could take a car to the beach to drop off your stuff. We try to park and walk everywhere after we arrive, the town is an easy walk away.
The reason for 4/5 stars is for the size and capacity of the house the supplies in the kitchen are still lacking. Last year I gave Crowley a note of suggested kitchen supplies. I do think there was an improvement in measuring cups, cooking utensils etc. however, if you plan to have any food items baked (casseroles, brownies) or want to make 2 packs of spaghettis or 8 ears of sweet corn, the pans are non-existent. There’s not an 9x13 pan. Also, do not expect any extra supplies at all. There are none at the house, bring everything (wraps, hand soap, detergent etc).
We had a wonderful Bethany vacation in this home, but I don’t think we will rent this one again.

Location was great and Sea Colony amenities are wonderful- tram, pools and beach. The property itself is not well maintained, there’s too much furniture/stuff which makes the space feel small and needs updating. There’s no attention to detail with cleaning: lots of dust, stained blankets, stained chair, dirt/stuff on doors and walls, missing light bulbs, broken screen on screened porch, chipped mugs, no towel rack in a bathroom, the list goes on. We would absolutely stay in Sea Colony again but not this property.
